From a Kalikot classroom to the global NRNA executive

Three decades of teaching, migration, enterprise and elected diaspora service — each stage building the institutional discipline he now brings to the ICC.

  1. 1990s

    Principal & University Lecturer

    Served as Principal of Satyadevi Secondary School in Kalikot, one of Nepal's most remote districts, then lectured at Tribhuvan University's Minbhawan and Jitpur campuses.

  2. 2003

    Arrival in the United States

    Left a lectureship in Kathmandu after receiving the Diversity Visa, and rebuilt from the ground up in Wisconsin — first in frontline work, then in ownership.

  3. 2010

    Founding President, NRNA Wisconsin

    Established the NRNA Wisconsin Chapter and built its first membership base, cultural calendar and student support network.

  4. 2021–2023

    President, NRNA USA

    Led the largest NRNA national coordination council through the pandemic, purchased its first permanent headquarters building and drove record membership.

  5. 2023–2025

    General Secretary, NRNA ICC

    Managed global secretariat operations across 80+ countries, tightening reporting discipline and chapter accountability.

  6. 2025–2027

    Vice President, NRNA ICC

    Elected Vice President with a mandate built on fiscal transparency, citizenship by descent and welfare for migrant workers in the Gulf and Malaysia.
